Notes:
1. The course outline is found on page 2. The intent of the lectures is to provide
you with background material and theory which supplement those given in the
references and handouts.
2. Homework problem sets will be assigned on a regular basis and will typically
be due one week later. Solutions to homework problems will be handed out as
soon as the graded homeworks are returned.
3. There will be a 1-1/2 hour midterm examination (Friday, February 12) and
a 1-1/2 hour final examination (Monday, March 15). Weighting for the final
grade is: Final Exam: 35%, Mid-Term Exam: 35%, Homework: 30%.
4. Our class website is at http://www.stanford.edu/eborja/cour/cee293.html. This
website is password-protected. You will need to be registered for the class to
be able to logon.
