Objectives :
By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to :
(a) Write possessive pronouns correctly and appropriately
based on the worksheets given.
YEAR 3
Activities :
8.50 9.50 (a) Teacher writes several sentences on the board.
(b) Teacher asks pupils to read and identify the words that
ENGLISH have been underlined
LANGUAGE (c) Teacher introduces the grammar content.
(d) Teacher introduces vocabulary.
(e) Teacher explains about possessive pronouns and how to
use it.
(f) Teacher then uses a power point presentation to
introduce sentences with that grammar content.
(g) Pupils drill themselves with the sentences for several
times.
(h) Teacher divides pupils into four groups. (Y, P, R, G)
(i) In groups, pupils practice answering the correct
possessive pronouns on the mini board given.
(j) Pupils listen to teachers instructions and complete the
group task.
(k) Pupils will present their answers in front of the
classroom.
(l) They will do (gallery walk) during the practice stage.
(m) Pupils then complete the worksheets during production Added Value:
stage in order to enhance their understanding. Turn-taking,
(n) Teacher acts as monitors and guide pupils progression. teamwork
