The new residential building replaces an existing utility building
facing the water, keeping the chimney as a testimony of the industrial past.
The cubic mass of the building is excavated to the south by a
trapezoidal courtyard marmorino White, an intimate venue that leads from the public space at the entrance.
If the materials and techniques used are entirely conventional,
the details of their use reveal the impossibility of a historicist replication.
The traditional setting in Istrian stone beading minor Venetian
building windows is transformed into a pattern "graphic", working on different depth of the windows in relation to the various window treatments.
