- Attend pre-construction meetings (kick-off meetings).

- Attend Weekly Project Progress and QC Meetings.

- Follow up and assist Q.A/Q.A inspectors performance and data entry

- Review the Contractor's look-ahead schedule to assist in the planning of coverage of the work activities

- Attend as an observer both the Contractor's Internal Quality Audit and the closing meeting.

- Interview Contractor's proposed Q.C and NDT candidates and may also disqualify any individual or agency

- Monitor the Contractor training program to ensure that all Contractor and Sub-Contractor personnel are familiar with the project

- Reviewing and Preparation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) as per Specification and Client requirements.

- Review of Mill test certificates as per the specifications.

- Inspection of material and welding consumables as per Specifications.

- Reviewing and preparing the WPS for SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW, FCAW & SAW process according to

ASME Sec-IX, AWS D1.1 & BS EN 288 Standards for Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel and Dissimilar

Material.

- Witnessing and Certifying the Procedure Qualification Record (PQR).

- Witnessing and Certifying the Welder Performance Qualifications Test (WPQT). Controlling/monitoring the

material Identification starting from preparation to delivery. Responsible for QC activities of shop floor as well as

Sites and arranging and providing support for inspectors at Sub-contractors.

- Preparation of stage inspection Reports as per ITP.

- Inspecting the pipe Spools (for C.S, S.S, FRP and GRP) as per the drawing and documented same.

- Monitoring the Backing system for welding consumables and Pre heating and Inter pass temperature of Welds.

- Conducting Visual Inspection on Welds and parent material. Co-ordination with NDE works as per requirements.

- Conducting PT, MT for Surface checks and Sub surface Checks. Conducting Ultrasonic Test for Laminar Check and

Weld checks. Radiography film Interpretations.

- Issue NCRs for violation found during inspection.

- Preparation of Hydro static Test Packages and Pneumatic Test reports. Conducting Vacuum Test for Decks and

documented same.
