I am writing this recommendation for the purpose of offering my support to our

student Chirita Liana Elisabeta, in her efforts to study in a prestigious University in the
UK next year.
I am a teacher at the Hariclea Darclee School of Art in Braila and taught Visual
Arts for 17 years. I met Liana in 2008 when she was in fifth grade in the Visual Art
Departament . I gradually discovered Liana , as a sensitive nature, with a sense of humor.
I praise Liana on her inventiveness and creativity, her unique perspective and vigorous
intellect. Looking back, I can say that from the beginning i noticed her artistic
skills.More important is the fact that, during those years i have saw her working hard to
develope and evolve her drawing skills. I can say that her strongest point is her
creativity. Since she was little she enjoyed the the most the lessons in which her
inventiviy was put to test. I am sure that she came to appreciate the material we
teach,because she choose to continue her education here .
I said above that Liana has her own unique personalit.Usually a sociable spirit she
refuses to be recruited in the small activities of bad taste, keeping her calm and therfore
proving that she has an independent personality. I appreciate her because she spent her
free time volunteering within the school projects and since she was in the fifth grade she
has participated in different art contest and won some awards.
Liana has always been a thorough student always doing her homework but also
she has shown that she is dedicated to follow this path.
In the11th grade she showed ambition and sef-motivation when she came to do
some additional work for the National Competition of Architecture, Design and Art
History. She has participated in the Industrial Design section. Thanks to her hard work
she had manage to reach the final stage, following by being ranked in the top 10 finalists.
This experience has helped her enrich her knowledge. These performance proves that
Liana is a bright student and that she has an excellent power to concentrate during
demanding situations.
Liana always spots new aspects of problems and seeked original solutions.
Rarely I have seen a student who is so eager and capable of spotting a problem, drilling
through the endless factors and details which compose the issue and developing a
original and applicable solution.Offering in the end an original solution proving her
creativity, especially in this domaine. Therefore, I recommend Liana for further study in
computer graphics and animation.Since i have meet her,this were her passions. Starting
with cartoon drawings at age 12 and after that learing numerous tehniques and
developing her own and individual style trought dedication and hard work. This is an
extra motivation to attend a university better in terms of curriculum, and teacher
professionalism than any Romanian university.
Even if Liana has a rather shy personality she has a generaly good nature, she
manges to integrate. Above all Liana is a modest and student and she had always had an
irreproachable attitude and behaviour. She has always shown suport and helped her
class mates demonstrating that she is a reliable colleague.Thus proving that she is
perfectable capable to be part of a collective and to work in a team.
Proving that she is a socible spirit she has joined the National Organization of
Romanian Scouts. I have attended some of their actvities and i have witnessed Liana
holding Art Workshops for kids. I have noticed her talent to engross children into their
artistic activity.
I am convinced that the Uk university will help her to develop professional and
personal, to raise her english skills, and especially to develop a complex personality.
