Were Heading to the Farm!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

All fourth graders will be going on a field trip to Laurenz Farm on Tuesday,
September 19th. The children will become better acquainted with agriculture in Michigan,
the many facets of farm life, community jobs, ecosystems, and farming economics.

We will be gone from 8:55 AM 1:30 PM. Please have your child dress for the
weather. Long pants and closed-toed shoes are recommended for walking through fields.

Your child will need a sack lunch and drink. Please pack your childs lunch in a
disposable paper sack with his/her name written on it. It would be easier if youd pack nothing
that would need to be returned to the school.

Due to limited space on the busses, the field trip is limited to only students and four
chaperones per class. Please email me ASAP if youd like to chaperone. Thank you.
