Daerah penelitian terletak pada koordinat 0o 43 37,95 LS, 120o 01 29,23 BT


sampai dengan 0o 42 30,83 LS, 120o 06 15,88 BT yang berada di sepanjang ruas jalan
Tawaeli-Toboli km 52 64 dan secara administratif meliputi wilayah Kecamatan
Uwentiro, Kabupaten Donggala dan Kecamatan Toboli, Kabupaten Parigi Moutong,
Sulawesi Tengah. Area penelitian memiliki panjang 12 km dengan skala peta 1 : 10000.
Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum untuk menetukan kondisi geologi teknik dan kestabilan
lereng massa batuan di sepanjang Ruas Jalan Tawaeli-Toboli km 52 64. Daerah ini
memiliki ketinggian + 25 950 mdpl dengan kemiringan lereng 0 70 %. Geologi Teknik
daerah penelitian dibagi menjadi Satuan Aluvial, Satuan Lempung Lanauan, Satuan Pasir
Berfragmen, Satuan Sekis amfibolitAmfibolit, dan Satuan Genes. Berdasarkan analisis
kestabilan lereng, pada daerah penelitian ditemukan 16 titik lereng yang berpotensi
mengalami keruntuhan. Karakterisasi massa batuan dengan Metode Metode RMR
diperoleh kelas massa batuan II III (good rock fair rock) dengan nilai 52,32 sampai
75,5. Potensi keruntuhan berdasarkan analisis kinematika pada 16 titik pengamatan berupa
planar failure, wedge failure, toppling, dan circular failure. Kestabilan lereng massa
batuan dengan Metode Metode SMR diperoleh kelas lereng IIb Va (stable completly
unstable) dengan nilai 5,5 sampai 65,14.

The research area is located at coordinates 0o 43 37,95 S, 120o 0 29,23 E and


0o 42 30,83 S, 120o 06 15,88 E that is along the road Tawaeli-Toboli km 52 64 and Commented [TS1]: KM

District, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi. The study area has a length of 12 km
mapped for the scale of 1 : 10000. The purposes of this research is are to determine the
condition of engineering geology and slope stability of the rock mass along the Road

divided into Alluvial Units, Silty Clay Unit, Sand with Gravel Unit, Amphibolite Schist
Unit, and Gneiss Unit. Based on the analysis of slope stability at study area, there was
found 16 points of slope that could potentially failure. Rock mass characterization with
RMR method obtained the rock mass class II III (good rock rock fair) with a value of
52,32 to 75,5. Potential failure by kinematic analysis at 16 observation points showed
various types of failure, such as planar failure, wedge failure, toppling and circular failure.
The stability of the rock mass slope with SMR method derived class IIb Va (stable
completly unstable) with a value of 5,5 to 65,14.
