Trained Robinson Faez on TCS at UT3 from June 28 to July4,
getting back very good response and outcome, showed by
our characterization of telescope performance on its
altitude axis and how this affected the long term strong and
extreme elongation visible in VISIR. See PPRS-069355.

On ASM :

PPRS-069257 ASM SLODAR in STANDBY Closed

This is becoming a repetitive incident, so being considered as a
problem since some time ago. Fortunately, support received from
software specialist Diego Del Valle it has been always more than
good. Lately he has explained with further details how to deal with
this problem and fix it on our own in case he is not in the mountain.

On UT3 :

Strong elongation due to uncalibrated encoders,work on progress to
fix it.

On UT3 we have faced mainly 2 problems :

1.- M3 tower goes to LOADED from time to time when changing
focus.
2.- Strong and Extreme PSF elongation visible in VISIR images not
matter which mode is used and whether data is calibration or
science. This has been characterized and is very likely due to
Telescope Altitude Axis is not well calibrated for VISIR
requirements. See PPRS-069355 submiited by Robinson Faez and
me.

On UT4 we have had many problems with Field Stabilization when
we started guiding, mainly observable on MUSE and SINFONI. We
think this is due to some issue introduced by M2 DSM.
