POSITION DESCRIPTION

Title: AmeriCorps

Supervisor(s): Program Director

Reports To: Program Director

Qualifications: High school diploma required or equivalent required. Post-secondary education

preferred. Excellent written and verbal skills. Excellent organizational skills and
attention to detail. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting critical
deadlines. Proficient in computers, technology, and some familiarity with
databases. Willingness to work with children, youth, parents, families and
adults. Willingness to strive for personal development, advancement and
improvement

Hours: 675 Hours or approximately 20 hours per week

Responsibilities: Coordinate organizations daily after school programs and activities and actively
participate in facilitating programs focused on Academic Success, Good
Character & Leadership & Healthy Lifestyle

Coordinate transportation for members to the Club and coordinate with schools
for release forms and communication with principals and teachers

Coordinate volunteers and support staff, assigns tasks and oversees duties

Prepare accurate documentation of Clubs after school programs, services and

activities and provides regular status report of after-school programs and
services to Program Director

Work with other Club staff and volunteers to create and maintain an
environment of support, development, learning and care for all participants,
visitors, families and community members

Proactively assist in maintaining the Clubs upkeep and cleanliness, which

includes all properties, inside, outside and vehicles

Report all repairs and maintenance issues to supervisor

Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
