An optional InGaAs detector that meets your requirements is now available.

For the measurement of such samples as AR (antireflection) coating used in

the field of photonics, people requested to perform near-infrared
measurement with low noise. To satisfy this requirement, an InGaAs
detector was added to our product line as a standard accessory for the
U-4100 spectrophotometer.

U-4100 NIR Measuring System (InGaAs detector)

This is the NIR measuring system that has the InGaAs detector in the solid-sample
measurement system or large-sample measurement system of the U-4100
spectrophotometer. This system has higher sensitivity and reduces noise in a wavelength
range of 850-1,600 nm compared to the PbS detector.

Two systems with different sample compartment sizes are provided.
(1) U-4100 Solid sample measuring system with InGaAs detector
(Sample compartment size: maximum 200 200 mm)
(2) U-4100 Large sample measuring system with InGaAs detector

(4) Others
- Installation fees are required to exchange the InGaAs detector of an existing U-4100
spectrophotometer. By exchanging the detector, the wavelength range will be 240 to
