A: 90-100 Grades for each subject are based
on the following weights: B: 80-89 40% Tests/Projects C: 70-79 30% Quizzes D: 60-69 20% Classwork F: 59 and below 10% Homework Study Tips HW is designed to either review or preview skills from class. Look over recent notes for 5-10 minutes each night Create flashcards on key vocabulary words or a flipchart Student-created quizzes Calling a classmate to quiz each other GATE Expectations Gate students begin working on material that is one grade level ahead. Students are expected to complete tasks that require higher level thinking. Students are expected to work at a higher level of independence.
