Mount Everest

Mount Everest is the largest and highest mountain on Earth . Mount Everest is in
the Himalayas. It is about 8,848 metres (29,029 ft) high. Its peak is on the border of
Nepal and China. It is above the Death Zone where the air is too thin for a human
being to live, so usually extra oxygen is used when climbing. The Death Zone refers
to the parts of Mount Everest that are above 7,600 metres (24,900 ft) above sea level.
Two other mountains also can be named as highest mountains - the volcano Mauna
Kea on Hawaii island is the highest mountain measured from the base underwater to
the summit (more than 11 kilometres), and the summit of Chimborazo is the fixed
point on Earth which is the greatest distance from the center. This is because of the
shape of the Earth: the circumference around the Equator is greater than around the
poles.

Mount Everest attracts many climbers, some of them highly experienced

mountaineers. There are two main climbing routes: one approaching the summit
from the southeast in Nepal (known as the standard route) and the other from the
north in Tibet, China. While not posing substantial technical climbing challenges on
the standard route, Everest presents dangers such as altitude sickness, weather, wind
as well as significant objective hazards from avalanches and the Khumbu Icefall. As
of 2016, there are well over 200 corpses still on the mountain, with some of them
even serving as landmarks.
Describing Thing
Notebook PC

Notebook computers generally cost more than desktop computers with the same
capabilities because they are more difficult to design and manufacture. A notebook
can effectively be turned into a desktop computer with a docking station, a hardware
frame that supplies connections for peripheral input/output devices such as a printer
or larger monitor. The less capable port replicator allows you to connect a notebook
to a number of peripherals through a single plug.

Notebooks usually come with displays that use thin-screen technology. The thin film
transistor or active matrix screen is brighter and views better at different angles than
the STN or dual-scan screen. Notebooks use several different approaches for
integrating a mouse into the keyboard, including the touch pad, the trackball, and the
pointing stick. A serial port also allows a regular mouse to be attached. The PC Card
is insertable hardware for adding a modem or network interface card to a notebook.
CD-ROM and digital versatile disc drives may be built-in or attachable.
