 PREFACE

The Project report entitled A Comparative Study of Library Services of St. Stephens
Collage and Shri Ram college of Commerce Libraries in the ICT Environment for the
award of degree of Master in Library and Information Science, under the supervision of Dr. R.K
Bhatt. The aim of the study is to find out the ICT services in both college libraries, and make
suggestion for improving the ICT services.

The present project report contains 5 (Five) chapters , as follows with the brief description :

Chapter 1 : Introduction discuss the Objectives, Scope and Methodology of the study

Chapter 2 : Review of Literature reviews the related literature on the basis of studies
conducted and highlights the details of the works already done by other researchers.

Chapter 3: ICT and its impact on libraries discuss the meaning, concept and components and
impact on library

Chapter 4: Library Profile details about both colleges library

Chapter 5 : Data Collection and Data Interpretations, interpretation the data collected from
the SSC and SRCC users and library through questionnaire.

Chapter 6: Conclusion Provides the findings, suggestions drawn from the study and
Conclusion.
