Results and Discussion

There are many equations that can be used for deriving the geoid undulation of a certain
point. In this case Equation 4 and Equation 3 is said to be precise with each other, as well as
Equation 1 to Equation 2. Moreover, each equation has its own advantages and disadvantages,
whether accuracy, practicality etc. For the second part of the exercise, Philippine Geoid app
provided by NAMRIA is useful in providing geoid undulations of a specific point. It uses three
grids: ITRF, PGM (based on WGS84), and GlobalGeoid. Each produces a unique set of N and can
be used for specific purposes.
