Licensing & Lunch
We're really excited to be welcoming Jon
and Natalie Lindsay-Scott to Springfield.
The Bishop of Southwark will be
licensing Jon at a special service on
Saturday, 4th November at 8.15pm. This
will be followed by drinks.
The following day, we'll be having a bring
and share lunch after the morning
service to welcome Jon and Natalie. If
you'd like to join us, please sign up in
advance to bring something, which you can do online or on the
sheet at the welcome desk.
The practice of Celebration
Dalesdown
Our young people and their friends are returning to Dalesdown
this autumn for a great time away together with space to build
friendships, learn more about Jesus, play games, eat and relax.

Taste and See
At our Taste & See service next Sunday we are looking at
Isaiah 63 and 2 Samuel 6 as we look at how
we are called to be people of celebration.
After our initial worship together, where we
bring forward our harvest gifts, there will be
four streams available for people to choose from:
a talk, a music workshop, arts & crafts and lectio divina.
Do feel free to choose the stream that best suits you and your
family and helps you to engage with the passages.

Holy Trinity Church is
celebrating their 150th
anniversary with a service on
1st October at 6.00pm
Invitations are available at the

Harvest
We celebrate harvest on
October 1st this year as part
of our Taste & See service.
We'll be collecting tins and
other non-perishable food
items (with long use by dates,
please) for donation to the
Women's Refuge, so please do
bring these along.

future and how God might use
us; we have a chance to be an
active part of His church, by
serving, by praying, and by
financial giving.

Parkrun
A group from Springfield
regularly take part in the
Roundshaw Downs parkrun,
inviting their friends to join
them on an energetic (or not
so energetic) 5km course.
There is a caf nearby for
coffee afterwards.
