The applicant a prolific author of RTI , seeks the following information:-

1. Information of a common policy in respect of doubtful integrity
officials in the PSU insurance companies.
(such officials get transferred from one office/co. to another
where they are awarded promotion as seen by applicant)
2. The amount of public money spent by each PSU insurance
company on payment of salary to such officials that are convicted
and despite that allowed as public servants, as on date. e.g.

The Cbi Special designated court no.3 has on the charges of embezzlement of about Rs. One and
half lakh by way of tampering in the insurance policy convicted the New India Insurance Co. , Jaipur
tower development officer Ramesh Pandya*, Bholaram and administrative Officer Dinesh chand and
Rameshwar Prasad** of sentence of three years conviction each. Alongwith the sentence the court
has imposed penalty of Rs. Sixty thousand upon each accused.

As per the case the CBI took cognizance on the basis of an anonymous complaint on 31 October 2007
that accused officials in the course of their duties of Insurance company tampered with 42 insurance
policies, thereby embezzled about Rs. One lakh fifty six thousand. Taking cognizance on the report the
CBI had filed charge sheet in respect of four accused in the court. (**enjoys sensitive privileged
