House #1

Shape: 2 stacking rectangles with an extended triangle crossing through each other.

Lines: Visible use of horizontal lines through its floor sections, diagonal lines on the roof.

Materials: Smooth cement, glass, and wood.

Roof: Triangular shape roof formed by slanted lines against each other.

Windows: Tall and thin windows on the 1st to 2nd floor, with cross pattern on the 2nd floor,
and much shorter windows on the attic.

Entry: Modern white door, over hanged with plastic see through cover.

Ornamentation: Horizontal lines being crossed and outlined throughout the building.

Architectural Style: Stick, Gable Roof (1860-1890)


House #2

Shape: Extended triangle interesting stacking on 2 rectangular shape shapes.

Lines: Visible use of horizontal lines through its floor sections, diagonal lines on the roof.

Materials: Smooth cement, bricks, glass, and wood.

Roof: Intersecting of triangular roof planes, slated lines balancing against each other.

Windows: Tall thin windows that has a cross pattern, much shorter windows on attic.

Entry: Standard wooden door, covered by roof of a brown brick porch.

Ornamentation: Horizontal lines crossing throughout the building, and light posts.

Architectural Style: Stick, Gable Roof (1860-1890)


House #3

Shape: A simple tall rectangular box embedded with rectangular window frames.

Lines: Horizontal lines presenting the shape of palladium style windows, and brick layers.

Materials: Bricks, cement, glass.

Roof: Plain flat and regular root with over hung cornice with dentils.

Windows: Double hanged windows, with some resembling that of palladium styles.

Entry: White door with porch mimicking that of a columned portico.

Ornamentation: Cornice with dentils, decorative frieze, windows attempting to mimic the
palladium style windows.

Architectural Style: Georgian, Town House


House #4

Shape: Crossing triangles on top of 2 stacking rectangles.

Lines: Standing horizontal lines as outlines of the building and vertical post lines.

Materials: Bricks, smooth cement, glass, steel.

Roof: Crossed gabled roof with 2 interesting triangular roofs.

Windows: Sashed and flat rectangle windows.

Entry: Plain white metal door, led up to by steps of stone and unturned posts.

Ornamentation: Warp around porch with turned posts, spindle work and projecting gables
from front and side, row of sash windows, and stone quoins emphasizing corners.

Architectural Style: Queen Anne Cottage, Crossed-Gabled Roof.


House #5

Shape: Although a rectangular shape with cut triangles and rectangle box to hold statue at
top, its ornamentation and columns allow it to be perceived as 3D shape with structure.

Lines: Vertical lines of its post and intel columns.

Materials: Smooth cement painted white, stained class, brass for decoration of doors.

Roof: Flat roof with 2 triangles building towards the inside, with a religious statue placed
emphasis on top.

Windows: Palladian style windows with glossy stained glass, decorated with columns.

Entry: Golden religious entrance, decorated with overhanging arch and post and intel
columns resembling the Roman design.

Ornamentation: Front gabled roof, front porch with columns mimicking that of Roman
columns, front faade corner pilasters, broad cornice, and undecorated frieze.

Architectural Style: Neoclassical, Full-Height Porch


House #6

Shape: A triangle on top of 2 stacking rectangles outlined by the porch of the 2nd floor
that is supported by columns, this also allows a sense of space and 3D shape.

Lines: Vertical lines presented by the post and intel columns.

Materials: Smooth cement painted in white, marble stone, steel frame, bricks.

Roof: A single triangular shape extended towards the back, extending over the gable.

Windows: Tall double hanged windows, with the attic windows more closely similar to
that of palladium styles.

Entry: Stone steps leading up to a classic wooden door fancied with stained glass and
gold decorations.

Ornamentation: Painted in white to mimic the marble texture of Greek, post and lintel
columns, heavy cornices. Friezes however was shown height and volume but remained
unadorned.

Architectural Style: Greek revival
