We have a Technology Licensing Agreement with GEI Industrial Systems Limited to manufacture
Aluminum Louvers for Air Cooled Heat Exchangers used for winterization application. GEI louvers
are approved by Engineers India Limited, New Delhi. GEI is one of the only three companies
approved by EIL for supplying louvers for Air Cooled Heat Exchangers used in oil and gas projects.

We offer the complete range of manual and auto variable louvers manufactured by us and designed
by GEI.
GEI was established in year 1970 in the city of Bhopal in central India. The factory area is spread
over 6.5 acres having infrastructure for design, engineering, manufacturing and testing of medium
and large Air Cooled Heat Exchangers and Air Cooled Steam Condensers.

GEI is accredited with ISO 9001-2000 certification for quality systems and hold ASME U and R
stamp certificates for fabrication of pressure vessels and heat exchangers both in the factory and at
the field or site.

GEI employees about 400 qualified professionals and experienced workmen.

GEI is one of the leading companies dealing with heat transfer products such as Air Cooled Heat
Exchangers and Air Cooled Steam Condensers for the energy sector which include petroleum,
natural gas, power and utility industries.

GEI has supplied heat transfer products to Africa, Australia, Europe, Middle East, South East and
Far East Asian countries and also to North and South America.

The products manufactured by GEI find application in Oil/Gas Production, Gas Processing, Oil/Gas
Transport, Petroleum Refining, Petrochemical and Power Generation.
 Aluminum Louvers
Aluminum louvers are used for precise control of process
temperature and power saving for Air Cooled Condensers
and Air Cooled Heat Exchangers.

Some fluids have low pour point which results in

crystallization and/or freezing of heavy hydrocarbons
especially during winter when air temperature is extremely
low. Louvers are used for winterization application for sub-
zero air temperatures.

Other application of louvers is to conserve power due to variations in atmospheric temperature. In

winter, air quantity can be reduced thereby reducing power consumption by fan.

Design Features
Louvers are designed both for
induced and forced draft
applications. For forced draft
application, the louver frame is
made of Aluminum sections and
for induced draft the frames are
made of Carbon Steel.

Louvers can be either parallel blade or opposed action. An opposed action louver has a broader and
more linear control range which can be effectively utilized with appropriate controllers.

Louver blades are of extruded aluminum sections with special profile designed for minimum air
leakage in fully closed condition. Glass Filled Nylon / Teflon bushes are provided for each of the
blade shaft to facilitate smooth opening and closing of louvers with least effort. Teflon bushes
provide longer life to the operating
mechanism of the louvers.
