Amerons Fiberglass Composite Pipe Group is a
leader in high-pressure, fiberglass piping technology.
Centron pipe is manufactured using state-of-the-art,
computer controlled filament winding equipment to
meet API (American Petroleum Institute)
specifications: 15 LR and 15 HR.
Durable and corrosion resistant
Centron fiberglass pipe is inert to internal corrosion from
many chemicals, crude oil, residues, injection water and
bacteria. Similarly it resists exterior corrosion even in
aggressive environments. Cathodic protection is not required.
Centron fiberglass pipe is easy to install. There is less need
for heavy lifting equipment.
Reduced costs
The installed cost of fiberglass pipe systems is typically
competitive to that of carbon steel. Operating costs are lower
due to the smooth internal surface reducing friction loss and
pumping costs. Hot oiling frequency is reduced (or eliminated
with the paraffin resistant option) and corrosion inhibitors are
never needed.

Centron Line Pipe (CEN/CBS)
The perfect match for on-site flow lines with low to
medium pressure requirements. Centron line pipe
features include strong coarse threads for a fast sure
connection, single O-Ring for a positive seal. A white
band is provided for a quick visual reference that a seal
has been achieved. Taper/Taper bonded joint is used for
CBS (Centron Bell and Spigot).

Downhole Tubing (DH/DHL)
Centron Downhole Tubing is designed and manufac-
tured with enhanced axial tensile strength and modulus.
Centron Tubing is the perfect choice for demanding,
high pressure and deep well applications.
DHL (light-duty) is designed for Coal Bed Methane
(CBM) and other openhole applications.

Centron Surface Pipe (SP/SPH/SP8) Downhole Casing (DHC)

Both advanced filament wound construction and
proprietary, double-seal joints are offered with Centron
SP/SPH/SP8, the right choice for demanding
applications. 4 Thread-per-inch sealing threads as well
as a secondary O-ring seal provide joint reliability under
high pressure conditions, along with easy, fast assembly.
The special exterior surface of Centron Casing gives
superior cement bonding that satisfies the most
demanding environmental requirements. All of this
without incurring additional cost of rough coating.
