User Guide for Digital phone users

1. Operator - 9.
2. Call Back - If the called extension is busy or not
responding.
- The Display will show Callback ?
- Press , the display will show will
Callback.
- Disconnect.
- If the called extension was busy, the system will
call you back when both your extension and
called extension are free.
- If the called extension was not responding, the
system will call you back after the user of the
called extension uses the phone atleast once.
3. External Call - Dial 0 to get the external dial tone.
- Dial the desired external number.
4. Adjusting the Ringer Volume - Press followed by 1.
- The Instrument will start ringing.
- Increase / Decrease by pressing / -.
- Confirm by pressing .
5. Adjusting the Ringer Pitch - Press followed by 2.
- The Instrument will start ringing.
- Change by pressing / -.
- Confirm by pressing .
6. Call Transfer - While you are engaged on a call and you wish
to transfer it
- Press
- Dial the desired extension number
- Disconnect.
7. Group Call Pickup - To pickup the call of the extension which is a
part of your Call pickup group, press the Call
Pickup key (which would be flashing).
8. Conference (Internal / - While you are engaged on a call, you can bring
External) in a third party into your existing conversation
- Press and listen to the internal dial tone
- Dial the required extension number or 0
followed by external number
- When the called person answers, press the
Conference key.
- The conference tone is heard and all the three
parties are in conference.
- Following the above procedure, we can have a
8 party conference (1 +7).
9. Call Forwarding - When you are going to be away from your desk
for a long time, you may forward all your
incoming calls to the extension where you
would be
- Press *17.

- The changed dial tone will remind you for
the activated feature

- To cancel forwarding :
- Press #17.
10. Call Log - To see Incoming Call Log:

- Press key once
- Press .
- The Display will show the Last incoming call
that was received.
- Then by using and keys in conjunction
we can see the last 10 incoming calls.

- To see Outgoing Call Log:

- Press key twice
- Press .
- The Display will show the Last outgoing that
was made from that instrument
- Then by using and keys in conjunction
we can see the last 5 outgoing calls.

11. Mobile PIN facility - When your are sitting at different extension and

Touch Keys: - Press Program key.
- Press the desired One Touch Key
- Press the required extension number.
- Press .

- To save an external number:

- Press Program key.
- Press the desired One Touch Key
- Press 0 followed by the required external
number.
- Press .

13. Locking/Unlocking Extension - Lift the handset and hear continuous dial tone
- Dial *18 followed by your PIN (code)
- Wait for the confirmation tone and then hang up
- The changed dial tone will remind you for the
activated feature
- To unlock the extension, lift the handset and
then dial #18 followed by your PIN (code)
- Wait for the confirmation tone and then hang up
- The normal dial tone will remind you for the
feature deactivation

14. Activate and Deactivate - Lift the handset, listen for continuos dial tone
Do Not Disturbed - Dial *12 from the extension .where you
intend to be
- To deactivate the DND, lift the handset and dial
#12 from the same extension
