eveningdetailinghowtheydspenttheirweekendsandhowtheyfeltasaresult.Activities
werecategorisedintoeitherloweffort(takingashower)orworkrelated(personalpaperwork,
replyingtoemails).
Next,thesameworkersweretestedtodeterminetheiremotionaldisposition.Theyweregivena
listofpositive(enthusiastic,interested)andnegative(distressed,upset)feelings,andaskedto
reporthowtheydusuallyfeel.
