Remarks
1 Sizes of riser and downcomers to be verified against final reactor/steam drum layout.
2 Material of cnstruction:
Heads: 1.25 Cr 0.5 Mo cladded with 0.1875" SS
Tubesheet: 1.25 Cr 0.5 Mo cladded with minimum 0.25" inconel.
3 The catalyst in the reactor tubes is supported by alumina balls.
For details see mechanical drawing. Volume must be checked against final drawing.
4 Design load for outlet support:
Weight of catalyst and inert material: 267525 lb
Design pressure drop: 45.5 psi
Total design pressure load: 99.0 psi
5 Complete draining of shell side shall be possible.
6 Liquid height of 50 ft corresponding to maximum level in steam drum is included in the shell side design pressure.
To be verified during detail engineering.
7 Catalyst installed in the tubes.
8 Baffles are for support only.
9 Tubesheet corrosion allowance shall be 0" on tubeside and 0.125" on shell side.
