Dates to Remember: F-1 Families,
10/9-10/10 Today your child received a
Mrs. Phillips Teaching conference schedule for November.

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.3.OA.A.1
Interpret products of whole numbers, e.g.,
interpret 5 7 as the total number of
objects in 5 groups of 7 objects each. For
example, describe a context in which a total
number of objects can be expressed as 5

Habitat Projects
Students have been working in F-1
on Habitat group projects. Each
table team was given a Habitat to
research, create a Google Slide
presentation about, and present
their habitat to the class.
We love having students practice
teamwork and collaboration in class!
Each group has a team leader, time
keeper, recorder, encourager, and a
materials manager. We will try to
post their presentations on our
website so you can enjoy them too!

Box Tops

We are participating in the school box

top challenge! Please collect box tops
and turn them in to F-1 until Oct. 20th.
This is a fun way for F-1 to work
together and also raise money for our
school. We know F-1 can break records
and collect a lot of box tops for Kolb
Elementary!
