ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Sequential Shift Automated Manual Transmission, SGSITS July16 Aug16
Designed and developed the system by converting the conventional manual transmission using linear actuators for the
automization of the gearshift process.
Wrote algorithm and coded the control system for the complete gear shift operation while synchronizing with clutch
operation.
The developed system shifts gears using upshift and downshift buttons controlled by the driver, without manually
operating the clutch thus improving the driving comfort.

Design and Fabrication of 3D Printer (Rapid Prototyping Machine), IIST-II Jan15 Jun15
Collaborated with a team of 3 peers to design a fused deposition modeling based RP machine for building prototype
models.
The machine prepared was capable of printing a model of dimensions 200mm*200mm*200mm, with a layer resolution
of 50 microns.
Led the project with key roles of designing and modelling the machine and developing the control system.

Design and Fabrication of CNC Router Machine, IIST-II July14-Dec14

Worked with a multi-disciplinary team in designing and engineering a CNC Engraving Router.
The system was programmed to be compatible with MACH3 software to control the tool path and performing the
desired tasks.
The machine was designed for a work area of 2ft.*4ft. and was capable of working on soft material such as wood,
aluminum, acrylic and others.
LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
Club Head, SGI Robotic Club, IIST Dec11-May15
Senior member of a 5 member team leading and mentoring a community of 150+ students for fostering interest in the
field of robotics by undertaking various projects.
Responsible for managing engineering projects and organizing various workshops at city level for raising funds to
keep up with the club activities.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
National Go-Kart Championship 2014 Oct 14
Led a designing team of 5 peers and supported in fabrication of the go-kart.
The team won the Best Design Award, as the kart successfully managed to meet all the competition challenges.
National Robotic Challenge, IIT Bombay June13
In a robotic competition organized by the premier institute, we secured 2nd position at the zonal level and were
successfully able to complete the task in the final round while competing with teams from across the nation.
International Robotic Challenge, IIT Bombay Nov12
Secured 1st position at the zonal level and competed with international teams in final rounds.
The final challenge involved creating an Autonomous Grid Navigation Robot and a manual robotic arm with 6
degrees of freedom which were then successfully synchronized while performing the given task.
Self-Projects
Mini CNC, 6 DOF manual robot, wirelessly controlled robots using GSM and camera vision, Self-Balancing Robot,
Fast Line Following Robot.
