Chemical Engineering Department

CDB CCB 1012 - HSE

Project

INTRODUCTION

One of the best ways to avoid injuries and accident is through good design and enforcement of the
safety rules. UTP building has been designed and constructed to follow many codes and standard in
order to ensure the function and also the safety. However, due to some wear and tear, change on
regulation, weather condition and also change in lifestyle, new risk and hazard can be identified in
several places. In this project, you have to analyze the hazard and evaluate the risk in your surrounding
area (dept. building / village) and come up with a simple and efficient solution to avoid any injuries or
accident. The hazard can be mechanical, electrical, chemical, ergonomic, fire, heat and temperature,
etc. Please provide solution according to the best practices that you have learn through this course.
