 A POSTCARD FROM CALI, COLOMBIA

Dear friend,
Right now we are writing from Cali. This city is the capital of the Valle del Cauca. People come to Cali not only
to enjoy the city, but also to dance Salsa. Besides, people visit Cali to go shopping, as there are many malls where
people can buy things like toys, clothes and other items. Also in this postcard you can see the Hermitage, the
monument of Sebastin de Belalczar, and "El Gato", three of the most beautiful monuments of Cali. On the
other hand, people do many activities at night like dancing and going to bars. However, we dont like walking
alone at nights, because it is dangerous in contrast to the mornings where there are a lot of people to do the same.
In addition, the traffic in Cali is horrible, for example in the same street you can see cars, buses, motorcycles and
bicycles. On the contrary We like the gastronomy of Cali. Visitors can eat dishes such as chicken soup, tortilla
soup and a wide variety of candy in addition to the famous cholados. We also like the city of Cali because there
are many cultural activities. For example, you can take your family to the zoo.
