This is an exciting time for education, this fall marks the dawning of a new era of GI
Bill benefits. Early in August, a major revision of the GI Bill swept through Congress,
Outreach, Websites, Claims Assistance, Events, and Resources passing both the House and the Senate with an incredible majority vote.

Among many other items, the Harry W Colmery Veterans Education Assistance Act of
2017, named for the principal architect of the original GI Bill, grants entitlement at the
100% level to Purple Heart receipts, changes the way monthly housing allowance will
be calculated, improves the reimbursement for licensing and nationals tests, extends
