Recommendations for installing S&P roof extract or supply fans
The adjoining ducting should always be the same size (or larger) than the fan inlet section / diameter.
The base and ducting should be properly sealed to prevent air leakage and re-circulation.
Where possible, the roof fan should be installed to minimise the effects of strong cross winds. i.e. on a pitched roof at a point lower than the roof
top camber.
