YEAR 2015 MATTERREGARDING
Please refer to the Commissioner Inland Revenue, Zone-II, RTO-II, Lahores letter dated.
09.02.2017 whereby you have been intimated that your case has been selected for audit u/s 214C of the
Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, through computer random ballot by the Federal Board of Revenue on
09.02.2017 held in FBR (HQ) for the tax year 2015. This office has been directed to conduct audit in your
case. In view of the foregoing you are required to make compliance through furnishing following
record/documents relevant to period 01.07.2014 to 20.06.2015 in order to finalize the proceedings in
your case:-
1. Detail of salary income supported with salary certificate and tax payment proof.
2. In case a portion of total income includes income from business, books of accounts comprising
trading account, profit and loss account ledger, balance sheet, cash book, bank book, sales and
expenditure receipts, vouchers, invoices, stocks register, list of creditors and subsidiary books
3 Copies of rent/lease agreement if the source of income included property income.
4. Bank statements of all bank accounts for the period along with certificate that no other bank
account is being operated by you.
5. Wealth statement and reconciliation statement for the year under consideration.
6. Detail of personal/household expenses including utility bills supported with documentary deviance.
7. In case foreign income is declared proof of foreign income taxed in relevant country for instance
copies of assessment order or income tax return showing quantum of income to remit income along with
source of remittance (banking channel or otherwise)
8. Detail of vehicles owned by you and your family members/spouse (if any).
9. List of assets and liabilities declared in the wealth statement supported with documentary evidence.
10. Detail of all taxes paid by you during the period relevant to the tax year 2015.
11. Copies of rent/lease deed(s) if the business premises is/are taken on rent/lease.
12. Detail/documentary evidence regarding profit on debt paid during the year, if any.
13 Any other document which you may feel essential to prove your tax affairs.

Your compliance is requested by 09.08.2017. Please note that in case of noncompliance, you will expose
yourself for penalty u/s 182 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
