I. This act may be cited as Private Vehicle Control Bill.
II. Each household shall be duly notified of the punishments they will face in violation of this bill. a. There will be a fine of 80,000 pesos to 100,000 pesos in cash for those residing in Metro Manila, and 60,000 pesos to 70,000 pesos for those residing in other provinces. b. The violator will be imprisoned for 6 months to 2 years depending on the number of four-wheeled private vehicles they own. III. This bill is endorsed to slow down the growing population of four-wheeled vehicles that cause traffic in Metro Manila and in other provinces. IV. This bill will also control the air pollution, preventing respiratory diseases and others, especially in Metro Manila and in nearby provinces. V. With traffic slowly drifting away, tourists will be more encouraged to come to the Philippines.
After passage, the bill will be effective within 90 days.
