Role & Responsibility for Fundraising Team


For All Members:
Be positive, enthusiastic, energetic, punctual.
Build and maintain strong relationships with all volunteers.
Build a sense of family inside your team.
Communicate regularly with every single volunteer.
Always be active in WhatsApp group.
Take ownership of your team to improve it.
Take responsibilities and fulfill it successfully.
Be happy and spread joy and happiness around you.
If you are not responding well, you will be removed from the team after one warning.

For Fundraising Sub Head:


Recruit your team members with the help of core team.
Motivate and engage your team members regularly.
Set a monthly fundraising target and achieve it successfully.
Attend weekly core team meeting.

For Fundraising Team Leader:


Recruit your team members with the help of core team.
Train your team members with the help of core team.
Plan and make a fundraising event calendar with your team for next 3 months.
Set a monthly fundraising target and achieve it successfully.
Distribute all work in your team members.
For each fundraising event/activity, make someone as an event lead.
Give support to event leaders in every step to organize event/activity.
Dont be a boss. Be a leader and an example.
Motivate and engage your team members regularly.
Give your teams working status/report twice a month to Dhami Sir.
Attend weekly core team meeting.
Set a weekly meeting/get together schedule with team members.
Your team members will give monthly feedback about your leadership.

Time Commitment:
For team members 5 hours/week in 2 days. (Monthly minimum 6 days)
For sub head 7 hours/week (2 hours for core team meeting + 5 hours for work) in 3 days.
For team leader 7 hours/week (2 hours for core team meeting + 5 hours for work) in 3 days.

For Photographer & Videographer:


Shoot close and open-ended quality photographs & capture special moments.
Make short video/movie related to Gur Aasra or cause and submit it.
Upload all photos and raw videos to Gur Aasra google drive.

For Graphic Designer:


Make design for greetings, birthday wishes, social post, posters and other required materials.
Submit all work at least 2 days before the schedule date to verify.
Submit verified/edited final copy at least 1 day before the schedule date.
Upload a final copy and editing file (ai/cdr/psd) to Gur Aasra google drive.

For Creative Writers:


Write articles on Gur Aasra event/activity
Write on other materials required in Gur Aasra.
Submit final work at least 1 day before the schedule date or as soon as possible.

For PR & Hospitality:


Communicate regularly with all Gur Aasra volunteers to connect and motivate them.
Spread awareness about Gur Aasra during events/activity through communication.
Manage hospitality where required.

For Extra-Curricular Sub Head:

Plan activity like art & craft, drawing, singing, dancing, sports, learning workshop, fun events, trip.

Publicize about volunteer recruitment with the help of all volunteers and core team.
Recruit all team members with the help of core team.
Responsible for all recruitment works like calling, sending email, SMS to new applicants.
Train all team members with the help of core team.
Keep all volunteers related records like active volunteers list, birthday calendar, joining date etc.
Send wishes/greetings to volunteers on their birthday.
Keep a record of all volunteers attendance regularly.
Prepare all volunteers related documents like certificates, confirmation letter etc.
Distribute all human resource work in your team members.
Solve all volunteer related issues/problems. If required, discuss with Team Leaders/Dhami Sir.

Appreciate volunteers on their success/good work.
