Executive Summary
Looking at the enormity of the situation it
was evident that large scale multi-
dimensional support from diverse quarters
would be required for a prolonged period
to undo the damage. Amidst the larger
scheme of things this project aimed to
provide rapid response to emerging issues
as water recedes and people starts moving
back to their homes.

8th September 2017: Majuli
The floods had contaminated sources potable water, making it a luxury. To alleviate
this, 700 water purifiers were given to beneficiaries identified by the district
administration. 150 bundles of CGI Sheets were provided to those who had lost a roof
over their head. Clothing materials were also provided.
