Cable preparation

1 At one end of the red, 3700 mm long electrical line (2) 4 At both ends, attach a red, 700 mm long, electrical

Cable routing

6 Connect red, 3700 mm long, electrical line (2) to positive terminal of additional
battery (G1/2).

7 Route red, 3700 mm long, electrical line (2) along main cable harness from
engine compartment to connecting rail (10) in seat base.

i Leave sufficient space at the lower part of the center panel for the airbag
control unit.

8 Connect red, 3700 mm long, electrical line (2), as shown,

to connecting rail (10).

9 Connect red, 350 mm long, electrical line (6), as shown,

to connecting rail (10).

10 Route red, 350 mm long, electrical line (6) to battery

cutoff relay (K57) and connect to terminal X4.

11 Connect red, 700 mm long, electrical line (7) to terminal X3 of battery cutoff
relay (K57).

12 Route red, 700 mm long, electrical line (7) to fuse box (F59) and connect to
connection 4 (arrow B).

13 Connect red, 500 mm long, electrical line (11) to

terminal D+ (arrow A) of body manufacturer electrical
connection (X145/1) in the seat base.

14 Route red, 500 mm long, electrical line (11) to battery

cutoff relay (K57) and connect to terminal 2.

15 Connect brown, 300 mm long, electrical line (12) to terminal 1 of battery cutoff
relay (K57).

16 Route brown, 300 mm long, electrical line (12) to ground point on driver seat
base 1 (W71/1) and connect.

17 Fasten all retrofitted lines with cable ties.
