The incidence of measles is strongly associated with the success of the measles
immunization program. Meaningfull indicators to assess the size of the health of people in
developing countries are immunized against measles. When immunization coverage reaches
90%, it can contribute to reduce morbidity and mortality by 80-90%. United States achieve
measles eradication at a rate of 90% coverage. Indonesia currently at the stage of reduction
with the control and preventation of outbreaks. The purpose of this study to determine the level
of knowledge of mothers on immunization against measles in sub-health centers Sena Batang
kuis Village. This research is done by distributing questionnaires and descriptive. Th total
sample of 75 people. Is a quantitative research data and analyzed by univariate analysis.
This study has shown that the level of knowledge of mothers by age of 20-30 years by
26,7% good knowledge, the level of knowledge of the mother based on the number of children
found in women who have two children as much as 17,3% good knowledge, and knowledge level
of mothers by education level contained in the mother as much as 37,3% high school educated
good knowledge.
