Summative Assessments

Presentational (writing and speaking) construct a powerpoint presentation comparing and

contrasting two accounts of a fairy tale or legend and present it in class
Interpretive (reading and listening) read short stories/legends in French- listen to a
story/folktale- identify main ideas therein
Interpersonal (speaking and listening) students will form a panel and will be paired with other
students who will ask questions concerning the story they wrote

Dixit game to help practice using the imparfait in speaking and describing pictures using the
interpretive mode
Grammar practice activities on whiteboard/Smartboard
Describe and summarize an oral short story
Pair students to come up with a mini-story using Dixit cards and other found objects
