1 CLASSROOM - DAY 1

A full classroom with a focus on a young male named Sam. He

is distracted as he fidgets with his hands and
pens/pencils/paper.

ENT. ADDICTION FIGURE

"Time to go."
EXT. ADDICTION

Sam then turns back to an empty classroom, he continues

fidgeting. He then turns back to a full classroom all of his
classmates are staring at him. He then runs out of the room
as it is revealed no-one is watching.
CLASSROOM TEACHER
"SAM, SAM, SAM."
CUT TO

*Title card* plays over a montage of Sams face

2 STREETS - DAY 2
Sam is shown running through the school, outside and then in
a forest as it gets darker, he then stops, looks around and
turns back. Sam is then shown sitting at a bus stop waiting,
when he sits on the bus he is shown rubbing his arm and his
eyes are flitting, he turns to look outside but there is
multiple time periods shown as he looks outside.
3 HOUSE - DUSK 3
Immediately after Sam is shown in his house, he pauses for a
moment as he slides down the door panting.
ENT. ADDICTION FIGURE
Then the addiction holds out his hand and Sam follows him
out of shot.
QUICK SHOTS OF
Heroin being heated up, cocaine cut up as well as a pipe
being lit. Sam is overwhelmed with the drugs and slumps
backwards.

4 FIELD - DAY 4
LONG SHOTS OF
Sam awakes in a field with a glittered face. Sam stands up
and looks into a mirror, he closes his eyes in a state of
bliss and outstretches his arms. Sam puts his hands to his
head and slowly falls down.
5 FAIRY-LIT ROOM - NIGHT 5

When he wakes Sam is in a room lit by fairy lights, a

frantic Sam is shown stuck to the spot. The addiction
watches Sam, he steps up and moves towards Sam reaching out
and holding his hand as he does so.
At first there is the reality shown of Sam, he sits in a
blissful state, Sam snatches back his hand and is confused
and hurt. Addiction reaches out once more which in this
case, Sam takes his hand. In the first possible ending
shown, Sam starts afresh, he throws the drugs away, splashes
water on his face and stands still as a time-lapse carries
on. Sam pulls back his hand and nods which to this, the
addiction reaches out again, Sam denies his hand.
ADDICTION
"You must see all before you
choose"

Sam takes his hand. Sams life has became filth and squalor,
he is shown sweating, and repeatedly taking drugs for days
sitting in filth. Sam hangs himself whilst Addiction holds
his hand.

A confused Sam pulls back his hand, though the addiction

remains unfazed. Sam then reaches out for his addiction,
they share an embrace, Sam begins to cry and Addiction
starES in the distance. Finally the reality is shown of Sam
overdosing, his mouth foams and his body shakes as he drops
down to the ground.
