Welding Inspection
Implement welding procedures, project quality plans, inspection & test plans (ITP) and report
formats complying with project specifications and relevant codes of practice.
Witness Welder Qualification tests, conduct performance audits, maintain records and ensure
continued validity of welder qualifications.
Ensure adherence to the Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) and carryout essential
modifications to variables to meet additional client requirements.
Carry out fit-ups and visual inspections of welds adhering to approved Welding Procedure
Specification (WPS).
Coordinate with the clients inspection departments for stage wise inspections during
manufacturing.
Ensure quality of incoming materials and availability of required material test certificates (MTC).
Conduct mechanical tests and chemical analysis of material to conform adherence to project
specifications and international standards.
Arrange NDT tests to meet requirements of project specifications and relevant codes.

Follow up and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions to close NCRs.
Coating Inspection
Inspection, testing and quality assurance of painting/coating systems in the oil & gas and
refinery industries.
Experience in a wide range of coatings pipeline & flow line coatings, 3 layer polyethylene
coatings, high build epoxy coatings, fusion bonded epoxy coatings, heat shrinkable sleeves,
structural steel painting/coating, fire proofing coatings, anti-skid paintings, high temperature
silicone based coatings, coal tar epoxy coatings, polyurethane paints, galvanizing and coatings for
pressure vessels & steam reformers.
Inspect protective coating materials before application to ensure adherence to specifications.
Prepare blasting, coating & wrapping procedures meeting contract specifications.
Monitor and maintain the calibration status of all NDT equipment and instruments to meet
certification requirements.
Maintain all NDT related QC records including batch details of consumables, dark room
calibration and subsequent test records.
Ensure adherence to NDT techniques and procedures complying with international standards
and client requirements.
Review test orders and determine the type of test, test procedure and part acceptance criteria.
Conduct radiography tests using gamma rays and X-rays and interpret RT films.
Interpret and evaluate ultrasonic test (UT), liquid penetrant test (LPT) and magnetic particle test
(MPT) results.
Conduct vacuum tests of tanks and verify thickness of tank plates using UT tests.
Prepare all NDT reports.
