ABSTRACT
Anemia is the world's largest public health problem, especially for the
reproductive age group. Anemia in women of childbearing age can cause fatigue,
weakness, loss of capacity / capability or productivity. For pregnant women,
anemia contributes to the increased prevalence of maternal morbidity and
mortality, and the infant may increase the risk of infant morbidity and mortality,
as well as newborn Low (LBW) The purpose of this study was to determine the
factors related to the incidence Anemia In Pregnancy In Pregnant Women in
Puskesmas Langsa Old Year 2015. This research method is quantitative
descriptive analytic correlation with cross sectional design and the use of primary
data. The population in this study are all all pregnant women in Puskesmas
Langsa Lama, the sampling technique with a total sampling with a total sample of
67 respondents. The results showed that there was no correlation of age with
anemia in pregnancy with a p-value (Pearson Chi-Square) 0.385 (p> 0.05), no
parity relationship with the incidence of anemia in pregnancy with a p-value
(Pearson Chi-Square ) 0.062 (p> 0.05), there is a relationship with the nutritional
status of anemia in pregnancy with a p-value (Pearson Chi-Square) 0.000 (p
<0.05) and no relationship diet with anemia in pregnancy with p- value (Pearson
Chi-Square) 0.000 (p <0.05). Researchers suggest it to all health workers in
order to better implement promotive and preventive efforts to pregnant women at
risk of anemia in pregnancy by increasing cooperation with the volunteer and the
community to conduct monitoring of pregnant women with high risk, and increase
outreach activities to pregnant women about diet The recommended during
pregnancy, thereby reducing the risk of KEK and anemia during pregnancy.
