KAALACHAKRA
In Astrology, Kaalachakram is the basic foundation, otherwise known as Kaala Purusha
Thathwam. Kaalachakram is also called Wheel of Time, wherein all the Planets and
Bhaavas are all moving in the Zodiac at the stipulated rate of speed.
A person born in the Raasi Character of which is fire, he will be highly emotional, and
get angry soon at anything; if born with the character of Earth, he will be calm and
steady and possess right temperament; if born with the character of Air, his
involvement mostly connected with airy matters. ( E.g. a flutist or Naadhaswara Vidwan
- He is involved in airy through his instruments; Water born person may be a sailor or
his involvement be associated with watery profession, like that we are to consider and
assume with respect to the born raasis.)
Navamsa theory: We all know as a basic, that there are 27 stars in the Zodiac and each
star contains 4 paadas. (27 X 4 = 108 Padas). They are being distributed among 12
Raasis equally and sequentially by way of allocating 9 Paadas in each Raasi. This is called
Raasi Table. .
Like Raasi Table, the Navaamsaa Table also starts from Mesha Raasi. The four paadas of
each star are distributed sequentially, from Aswini to Revathi in order, between Mesha
and Meena raasis, respectively on a rotational basis, covering all 12 raasis.
The 1st Paada of Aswini star will start from Mesha and end at Sagittarius;
2nd Paada will start at Capricorn and end at Virgo;
3rd Paada will start at Libra and end at Gemini;
4th Paada of will commence at Cancer and end at Pisces.
Similarly, the total 108 Paadas of all 27 stars will be placed in Navaamsaa table for
arriving its postion in the Navamsa table.
Members are requested to prepare Navaamsa Table for their ready reference.
Based on Pada Chara, the result of the planetary motion is likely to get effected to some
changes relatively and hence our sages have introduced the Navamsa system. This helps
in Bhava and Grahas, how the results will be, when they are placed in Navamsa in which
Rasi they are placed. The results will be subject to variation depending on its motion like
Charam, Sthiram or Ubhayam, and its characters like Fire, Earth, Air, and Water
accordingly. . Many astrologers do not take these facts into account. KB is the only
method incorporating this essence of Kaalachakra Amsa method effectively.
How to use Kaalachakra Amsa under KB method which interlinks for prediction?
Let us take an example of four children born in Rohini star in different padas as their
Lagna star. ( Padas-1 to 4 respectively as Rohini-1, Rohini-2 etc. ) for our analysis..
Here is an important KB Sutra : At the birth time, a native would have born in a Lagna.
All of us know that each rasi contains 9 padas (2 stars).
The native would have born in a certain Pada out of 9 Padas. The same Pada position ,
for which all the remaining 11 houses are to be located, for their placement in Navamsa
Chart.
As said above, for these 4 natives whose Lagna falls in Rohini 1 to 4 th padas respectively,
Jupiter is in Simha in Pooram star of Venus and Venus is in 10 th Bhava. In Baskaras
astrological method, we have to first see, whether there is any Bhavasaram exists in any
of the Padas of the Lagna star. In Rohini star, Jupiters Pada Saram is available only, in
Rohini 4th Pada, and 1 to 3 Padas do not possess any of Jupiters star.
A Model calculation for Rohini 4th Pada is given below. (Members may kindly get
prepared for other Padas in Rohini star),
Native born in Rishabha Lagna, Rohini star, 4th Pada :
Note: Except 4th Pada of Rohini star, no other padas get Jupiter as ruler.
1- 5- 9 Bhavam - Moon
2- 6 -10 Bhavam - Jupiter
3- 7 -11 Bhavam - Mercury
4- 8-12 Bhavam- Venus
In the birth of the native born in Rohini 4 th Pada alone, Jupiter is Bhava Sara Lord for
2,6,10. Jupiter will give the result of these 2,6,10, through his star lord Venus 4,8,12.
Thus , Jupiter gets power to give the results of 2,4,6,8,10,12. This is called the first grade
Cuspal link.
For the native born with Rohini Padas 1 to 3, Jupiter has not become Bhava Sara lord.
For these 3 Pada birth natives, Jupiter will only give the result through its star lord
Venus, whose Bhava sarams are 4,8,12, not by itself.
Venus if placed in 1,3,5,7,9,11 Bhavas, then Jupiter will give the result in lieu of Venus
and also its own place (Leo). If Venus is in 12 th to Jupiter, Jupiter wont give his own
result ,but only will give Venuss result of 12th Bhava, his star lord..
If Venus is placed in 2 from Jupiter, Jupiter will give the result of his own and not the
result of his star lord,
If Venus is placed in 8th from Jupiter, Jupiter will give first his
own results and after that, due to his star lords placement is bad, he will get his own
Bhava results destroyed.
If Venus is placed in 4 or 10 to Jupiter, Jupiter will give his own result only and through
his star lords result for other Bhavas either favourable or evil results.
If Venus is placed in 6th Bhava from Jupiter, Jupiter will give his own result, which is evil
to soul related Bhavas and benefic to material related matters.
If Venus is placed in7th from Jupiter, Jupiter will give its own result and thereafter
depending upon the status of his star lords result of 7th, Jupiter will give to his Bhava
results being marred with jealousy and Opposition, competition etc.
The bhavas 1,5,9; 2,6,10; 3,7,9; 4,8,12 are trines having same unique movement and
characters.
Odd bhavas are soul related and even bhavas are material benefit Bhavas, which are
called as Aram, Porul, Inbam ( dharma, wealth, kaamam) . Based on this idea, among
the above bhavas, the Soul related otherwise known as Lagna dependent Bhavas are
classified as 1,3,5,7,9;
The other even behaves 2,4,6,8,10, 12 are classified as material benefit Bhavas.
