Dear Ms. Banks,

I am passionate about Cartwright School Districts work with its students, and I am eager to
apply for a position as a fourth-grade teacher. As an ardent supporter of education and helping
students, I believe Cartwright School District will be the perfect fit for me. It is absolutely
wonderful that everyday your school district provides education to more than 19,000 students.
Furthermore, it is evident that this school district puts the welfare of its students above all else;
notably, in its initiatives such as providing free breakfast and lunch and free all-day kindergarten.
Ensuring a students success in school, begins with safeguarding their health. Overall, your
school district embodies all that a school should to guarantee its students success.

My fondness for children and their education began at a very young age. As the oldest of four
children, I have always found that I work well with children, and I love to see them grow as
people and students. It is indescribably rewarding to know that you played a role in expanding
the knowledge of a child. My love for being an educator began when I was eleven-years-old. My
mother volunteered as a religious education teacher at my church, and every Wednesday I would
accompany her as a student teacher. I continued to assist at my church until I was fifteen-years-
old and my mother was no longer a teacher. Throughout my five years teaching at my church, I
learned that children have a natural love for learning, and there is nothing more gratifying than
providing them with the information needed to expand their knowledge.

Furthermore, as a graduate of Arizona State University in 2020 with a degree in elementary

education, I feel I possess many of the skills necessary to run a successful and happy classroom.
My last two years at Arizona State, I received student teaching experience that has greatly
expanded my ability to lead a classroom. Additionally, while in high school I was a part of a club
that worked with the special needs students at my school. I believe this club helped me become a
more patient person and an overall more compassionate person. All in all, my experience has
helped me grow as an educator and as a person.

By and large, it is my intention to utilize my experience along with my commiseration, intellect,

and positive attitude in order to be a teacher that will benefit the students and the school as a
