When you mix hydrogen and oxygen, you get water.
Ice floats when you put it in water.

We use the zero conditional to talk about scientific facts, when the condition always
produces the same result.

If you touch a fire, you get burnt.

Every time I play tennis with Justin, he always wins.
I get a headache when I drink too much wine.

We use the zero conditional to talk about general truths, when the result of the condition is
always the same.

When we use the zero conditional, we are not talking about the present, or the past, or the
future. We are talking about a simple fact.
