is dispensed with.

Learned counsel for the parties submit that the

writ petition filed by the petitioner is itself listed

for final hearing before the High Court on 25.02.2015.

They further state that the parties are agreeable to

complete the pleadings before the High Court by

25.02.2015 so that the matter is taken up for final

hearing and disposal without delay.

In that view therefore and in order to avoid any

delay we direct that the respondents in the writ

petition before the High Court shall file their counter

affidavits within 10 days from today. Rejoinder, if

any, be filed within one week thereafter. We request

the High Court to commence hearing in the main writ

petition on 25.02.2015 the date already fixed in the

matter. The parties assure us that they will not ask

for any adjournment for completion of pleadings or for

arguments.

We further direct that the parties shall maintain

status quo as it exists today until the matter is

finally decided by the High Court. We make it clear

that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of

the contentions which the parties may urge before the

High Court.

At this stage learned counsel for the parties

submit that since nothing further remains to be decided

by this Court apart from the directions issued above,

the special leave petition can be disposed of in the

above terms. We order accordingly.
