ANALIZA SWOT

Puncte tari:

- noiuni de vocabular (numere, animale, culori i aciuni)

- elevii claselor de liceu s-au descurcat la prima parte a testului unde au avut de completat un text cu
anumite cuvinte date
- mare parte dintre elevii claselor a V-a cunosc regulile de formare a numarului plural, pronumele
demonstrative si numrele
- acestia s-au descurcat de asemenea la redactarea unei scrisori dupa un model dat

Puncte slabe:

- elevii claselor a IV-a au lacune n ceea ce privete anumite noiuni de vocabular precum zilele
sptmnii
 - elevii claselor de gimnaziu un cunosc timpurile verbale
- partea a II-a testului care cuprinde un item de tip subiectiv evideniaz c 80% dintre elevi au
dificultati in exprimarea scrisa nefiind capabil sa redacteze o scrisoare sau un paragraf
- unii elevi au intampinat greutati n ceea ce privete ordinea cuvintelor n propoziie, acordul
predicatului cu subiectul i au facut greseli de scriere ale cuvintelor iar restul nu l-au abordat deloc
din cauza faptului c au un vocabular sarac i dificulti n exprimarea scris.
- la clasa a V-a a elevii au ntmpinat dificulti la completarea unui text cu verbul to be si to have got
la prezent
- prima parte a testului iniial la clasa a VIII-a relev c 80% dintre elevi nu i-au nsuit regulile
gramaticale referitoare la timpurile verbale (trecut simplu) i nu cunosc foarte bine verbele
neregulate. De asemenea se remarca carene n formularea ntrebrilor care ncep cu WH

Many people long to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. (1) The Sirrs family, however, decided
to do exactly that. Unhappy with their busy lifestyles they sold their 400 year-old cottage in Yorkshire to move
to the tiny Scottish island of Graemsay. (2) Attracted initially by the low price, Rob and Jill contacted the
agent concerned and discovered that the estate advertised actually comprised a post office, six houses and a
private sandy beach- all for 60,000. Once on the island the Sirrs tried to imagine what life could be like for
them. (3). However, they had no need to worry. On that first trip they met up to half of the sixty or so island
inhabitants and were given a warm welcome! (4)

Read the text below and complete the following tasks.

Pain, especially pain that doesnt quit, changes a person. (1) The initial reaction to serious pain is
usually fear (what is wrong with me and is it curable?), but pain that fails to respond to treatment leads
to anxiety, depression, anger and irritability. At age 29, Walter, a computer programmer in Silicon
Valley, developed a repetitive stress injury that caused severe pain in his hands when he touched the
keyboard. The injury did not respond to rest. The pain became worse, spreading to his shoulders, neck
and back. (2) At age 29, I was on Social Security disability, basically confined to home, and my life
seemed to be over, Walter recalls in Living with Chronic Pain, by Dr. Jennifer Schneider. It is hard
to tell that he, or any other person beset with chronic pain, is suffering as much as he says he is. Pain is
invisible, subjective symptom.
The body of a chronic sufferer- someone with back pain-usually appears intact. There are no objective
tests to detect pain or measure its intensity. (3) Mark Grant, a psychologist in Australia who
specializes in managing chronic pain, says the notion that physical injury equals pain is overly
simplistic. (4).
