My name is Moedeen Mohamed Eraff Mamode and I am lived at Phoenix behind police station.

I am
writing this letter in view of expressing my deepest thanks and gratitude to the CID team of phoenix
police station more particularly to Mr Hosanee and Mr Seeparsad who successfully solve a theft case,
which occurred at my residence on 17 March 2017.

The objects and money that were stolen are as follows:

(i) A laptop worth MUR 50, 000.00,

(ii) A mobile phone worth MUR 3000.00
(iii) MUR 6000.00

The thief entered my house through a window of my bathroom. He had damaged my wooden locker to
steal my laptop and opened my drawers to steal my Mobile Phone and MUR 6000.00. In addition, it
appears that the thief was armed with a 1m metal rod which was possibly used to open the locker or
could have been used to injure me or my son in case we were present at the time of the theft.

Through hard work and dedication of the CID team, the latter had professionally worked out the case
and manage to arrest the thief. Although I had not received my mobile phone and MUR 6000.00 but I
am highly satisfied with the work accomplished by the CID team and on 20 May 2017, the CID team
submitted to me my stolen Laptop.

I would like also to seize this opportunity to inform you that as a local inhabitant of Phoenix and the vice
president of ALL MUSLIM CONGRESS , we make a humble request that the distribution of methadone at
Phoenix Police Station to be relocalised to some other places which are from residential area. The
distribution of methodone attracts louche people who made inhabitant of the locality feels
uncomfortable as well as unsecured.

Once again let me thanks the Phoenix CID team for this excellent work and I hope them the best wishes
in their career.

Long live Phoenix CID team. Long live Phoenix Police Station. Long live the Police force of Mauritius.

Regards

Eraff Moedeen (5491 43 44)
