Course description
This course aims to consolidate and expand your speaking, reading and listening skills as well as knowledge of selected
English idioms. The level of the course is B2.

Requirements
Attendance (max 3 absences)
Participation in class work (home assignments, active participation in class discussion)
Three continuous Moodle quizzes (you need to obtain at least 70% in order not to have to write the final quiz)
Final Moodle quiz (you need to obtain at least 70% to pass)

Attendance
You are required to attend all meetings on time. More than four unexcused absences may result in failure of the course.

Essays
All essays must be typed in Times New Roman 12-point font and double-spaced. Title your papers, number the pages, and
staple them together in the top left corner. Late papers will not be accepted without a legitimate excuse.

School Policies
Course lecturers will fail any piece of work that they feel shows clear signs of having been plagiarized.

Should you be asked to submit written homework before class, you will need to hand it in the Student Office (door No. 204)
in the pigeonhole with the lecturers name on it. The assignment must include your name, the day of the weekly session and
the lecturers name (in the top left corner). If you have any queries or doubts regarding any of the work we have covered in
class or exactly what is required in an assignment, please get in touch.
