To Whom It May Concern:

This is a letter of recommendation in regard to Andrew Heidorn. In the fall of

2017, Andrew student taught for my 5 choir classes and 3 drama classes at
Flowing Wells Jr. High School. In the semester I worked with Andrew, he exhibited
an extremely strong work ethic, a professionalism well beyond his years, and a
deep yearning for his students to be successful. Andrew commits himself fully to
each and every endeavor and was able to develop a good rapport with students
in a short time. The students are very fond of Mr. Heidorn.

With regards to classroom instruction, Andrew employs a variety of skills to keep

students engaged and interested in learning. He is very good at relating to kids at
their level with hip language and the best corny jokes. Andrew is very
knowledgeable in the area of music and was able to garner a high level of student
interest and success. In the area of classroom management, Andrew utilizes a
technique in which he has respect for his students and they reciprocate. He also
maintains high expectations for his students and once the respect was in place,
students had a desire to rise to his high expectations. Andrew is one of the best
student conductors I have ever had in my classroom!.

Andrew very much enjoys working with kids and it is evident in his teaching.
Working with Jr. High students can be a daunting task and he handled it
beautifully. I can highly recommend Andrew for teaching in any district.
