Refuge
I and all sentient beings as vast as the vastness of space
from this time till we reach the essence of enlightenment
go for refuge to the glorious and immaculate gurus;
go for refuge to the Bhagavan, the perfect Buddha;
go for refuge to the immaculate Dharma;
go for refuge to the rya Sangha.
I go for refuge in the Venerable Maiden Arya Wish-
Granting-Gem Tara and her retinue. (3 times)

For the sake of all sentient beings I must attain the state of
Buddhahood. Therefore I shall practice the yoga of the
Venerable Maiden Arya Wish-Granting-Gem Tara.

Front Generation
At my heart, upon the cushion of a moon disc, the syllable
TM, emits rays of light invoke the venerable maiden Arya
Wish-Granting-Gem Tara, surrounded by the assembly of
buddhas and bodhisattvas to the space in front [of me].

OM RYA TRE SAPRIVRA ARGHAM PRATCCHA HM
[PDYAM, PUSPE, DHPE, LOKE, GANDE, NAIVEDYA,
APTA]


Taking Bodhisattva Vows
I go for refuge to the three Jewels
I confess individually all negativity
I rejoice in the virtue of reincarnating beings
I hold with my mind the enlightened state of a buddha.

May all sentient beings have happiness and the cause of
happiness
may all sentient beings be free of suffering and the cause
of suffering
may all sentient beings become inseparable from
happiness that is free of suffering
may all sentient beings abide in equanimity that is free
from the partiality of both attachment and aversion.

Dissolution of the Front Generation

OM SVABHVA UDDHAH SARVA DHARMH SVABHVA
UDDHO HAM

Everything becomes emptiness.

Self Generation
Out of emptiness, from the syllable PAM , arises a lotus
and from AH a moon disc, on top of which is a syllable
VRIM, from which arises a branch of a wish-granting tree
marked with a syllable VRIM.

Through the complete transformation of VRIM, I arise as

the Wish-Granting-Gem Tara, with a youthful appearance
and yellow in color. My left hand is in the gesture of
plucking a wish-granting-gem fruit from the branch of the
wish-granting tree to my left side. My right hand is
holding one such fruit in the gesture of giving it to sentient
beings.

On top of the moon disc supported by the lotus, I stand in

a graceful posture, adorned by exquisite silk garments and
jewelled ornaments. At my heart on a moon disc is a
syllable VRIM, at my forehead is syllable OM, at my throat
is syllable AH, at my heart is syllable HUM.

Invocation of Wisdom Beings
Rays of light are emitted from the syllable VRIM and
[invite] the wisdom beings in the form of venerable
maidens who is surrounded by buddhas and bodhisattvas:
VRIM ,

VAJRA SAMYA JAH/ JAH HM BAM HOH

The wisdom beings dissolve into me, the samaya being
and we become inseparable.

Empowerment
Once again rays of light are emitted [and invite] the
empowering deities with their retinue:

VAJRA SAMAYA JAH

All of you please bestow upon me the actual
empowerment.

The empowering deities recite the mantra below then

bestow empowerment.

OM VAJRA BHAVA ABHISCA HM

My body is filled, stains are purified, and the remaining
water overflows at my crown and transforms into
Ratnasambhava who becomes my crown ornament.

Mantra Recitation
Visualise countless replicas emanated from oneself to
eliminate the sufferings of poverty of sentient
beings, while reciting:

[Activity Mantra]
O TRE TUTTRE TURE DNAM MEDINI SVHA

Dissolution of the Self Generation and arise again.

Dedication
By this merit,
May I swiftly accomplish the enlightened state of Yellow
Tara, the Wish-Granting Gem
And establish each reincarnating being, without exception,
in her state.
