1. Beer Game : Supply chain based online simulation game

a) National Level during Samriddhi

b) In-House

This is one of the most important simulation game which is played world wide. Hence the intent of the
club is to help students understand supply chain in a fun way. Two events , national and inhouse, is
conducted so that students can pay inhouse, gain expertise and then compete with students with other
colleges at national level.

2. Continuum : National level live operations and/or general management case study competition

This is a case study competition where students are motivated to get a feel of real time industry issues
and find out innovative solutions.

3. Battle of Clans : An event with the mix of SCM, logistics and procurement (in house)

It is a fun game which helps in students getting a feel how supply chain works and what all problems can
occur at a very small level (like stockouts, delays etc.)

4. Shoot'Em Up : Supply chain management event based on Inventory Management

5. Tantra : 2 day workshop on various operation's concepts by area experts (Tantra 2017 was based on
APICS, conducted by APICS India channel partner)

6. Samhita : Annual operations magazine of GIM

7. Watsapp group/ Facebook page for discussion on supply chain and operations
The Supply Chain and Operations Club strives to live up to the vigor of Operations enthusiasts and is a
step ahead in ensuring that learning doesn't stop beyond books.

challenges every time to make learning more interesting

Objectives

To provide practical learning opportunities to minimize risk and maximize success in ventures

To facilitate interaction with experienced entrepreneurs, industry experts and venture capitalists to gain
insight and inspiration

To ensure that students stay abreast with career opportunities in general management and to help
them develop the required skill set.

To foster lasting ties between alumni in general management roles and current students for continued
mentoring and support.

To engage with industry and business leaders to nurture mutually beneficial relationships.
