100% Excellent Excellent Excellent 1.5 1.5 1.5

Mathematics achievements:
Student A orders days of the week, months of the year and seasons. She draws a range of 2D and 3D shapes and describes their features. Student A
independently creates open and closed questions, using them to survey and record answers. She creates picture graphs and bar graphs. Student A counts to
and from 100 by 1s from any starting point and counts by 2s, 5s and 10s to 100. She represents, reads, writes and orders 4-digit numbers.

Mathematics achievements:
Student B accurately orders days of the week, months of the year and seasons. He draws a range of 2D and 3D shapes and describes their features. Student
B creates open and closed questions, using them to survey and record answers. He accurately constructs picture graphs and bar graphs. Student B counts to
and from 100 by 1s from any starting point and by 2s, 5s and 10s to 100. He represents, reads, writes and orders 4-digit numbers.

Student C (Report from previous Primary School)

Attendance Behaviour Effort Organisation Measurement Number Statistics

/Geometry /Algebra /Probability
99% Good Good Good 2.5 2.5 2.0

Mathematics achievements:
Student C recalls addition facts for single-digit numbers and related subtraction facts to develop increasingly efficient mental strategies for
computation. He applies place value to partition, rearrange and regroup numbers to at least 10 000 to assist calculations and solve problems.
Student C can investigate the conditions required for a number to be odd or even and identify odd and even numbers. He is able to accurately
measure the masses and capacities of objects using informal units and has demonstrated an understanding of the formal units used to
measure length. Student C makes reasonable estimations when comparing the mass or capacity of a set of objects and, with direction, is able
to refine estimations based on findings. He is able to read an analogue clock to the quarter hour and has some awareness of elapsed time.
Student C can create displays of data using lists, tables and picture graphs and interpret them.

Mathematics Achievements:
Student D orders days of the week, months of the year and seasons. He draws a range of 2D and 3D shapes and describes their features. Student D creates
open and closed questions, using them to survey and record answers. He creates picture graphs and bar graphs. Student D counts to and from 100 by 1s
from any starting point and counts by 2s, 5s and 10s to 100. He represents, reads, writes and orders 3-digit numbers.
