1. AutoCAD Exercise (25 Marks)

Draft the plan in figure 1 using AutoCAD. Use furniture from the given library.

Consider the following points:

Replicate the above plan. Dont experiment and add anything to the design.
The dimensions shown above are all for the internal walls.
Most of the furniture you will find in the given library, and the others you will
have to draft.
Use 230mm as wall thickness for exterior walls and use 75mm thickness for
partition walls.
Use 170mm tread for the stairs everywhere in the plan.
Put all dimensions as shown in the drawing and hatch the walls.
Compose the plan in a Layout with a scale and take a printout of it at the end.
2. Sketchup Exercise (25 Marks)
Use the above plan (Figure 1) that you will be drafting in AutoCAD and make a 3D of
it in Sketchup.

Consider the following points:

Take wall height of 3300 mm.

Use a plinth of height 750 mm (5 steps as shown in the drawing).
Roofing you can do it as you want.
The plinth, walls and the roof has to be worked in different groups.
Put warehouse elements from the given library. No need to use internet for
library.
Put materials on your building and compose it in a layout.
In the layout have 1 plan, 1 section, 2 elevations, 2 perspective views, all in scale
and composed in separate pages.
